This is my last week at my internship, and I am so excited.  It'll be nice to go back to school and wear fun makeup again instead of sticking to predominantly office-friendly stuff.  There's only so much taupe/muted eyeshadow and lipbalm I can wear before I get bored, you know?

EDIT:  I completely had the wrong lid color written in.  I do not yet have Sassy Minerals Psych, I apologize if I got anybody overly excited or anything like that.

Wore this on Saturday to watch a college (US) football game.  My team was awful.  That's what I get for getting into sports.

Lower lashline:  AL hitormiss topped with ... AL dirtydeeds or some Valentine's 2009 color, I can't remember.  I put this on top of Pixie Epoxy but it didn't actually look any more pigmented... probably because I was using a matte shadow *shame*

Highlight:  TANF French Vanilla

I can't wait to go home and shoot people.  I've been playing COD with Mr. Mango and, even though first-person 3D games make me feel queasy and disoriented, I'm having so much fun.  It's just a bummer that we have to play in the evenings because that's when the level 50 no-lifers come out and destroy us.  Le sad.

Gryphon Door 12/01

My first foray back into loose stuffs!  For the rest of the month I'm going to work on using up samples that I've accrued (focusing on the ones in baggies because I always forget about them) but I wanted to start off by using some of the new stuff I purchased last month and couldn't use at the time.

Liner:  that CG marker liner which I do so love

Mascara:  Rimmel Volume Flash stuff

Highlight:  did I even use one?  idk anymore.

Oddly enough I'm not sure of which photo is actually color accurate.  On me it pulled toward the first photo (pinkish-mauvey-chocolate) rather than the second (slightly pinkish bronze).  I think this color would be beautiful on fair-cool skintones, or maybe on a deep skintone as a lid/inner corner shade.  This is a big honking thumbs up for me.

It's officially December!  I finished NaNoWriMo, used nothing but pressed eyeshadows/palettes for a whole month, AND I successfully hid Mr. Mango's birthday gift (COD: Black Ops) in my bookshelf, right between two large cookbooks, and he never noticed even though he actually checked the bookshelf, mostly looking behind the books/next to the wall.  I feel so clever. 

Anyway, I figured I'd catch up on pressed/palette looks before posting anything with my (much missed) indie and pressed shadows.  This next song was done entirely with the NYX Green Eyes palette.

Lid:  bright purple

Inner 1/4 of lid:  very, very pale pink

Outer crease/V area:  deep jungle green

Inner crease:  leafy true green

Lower lashline:  NYX glitter liner in Lavender, a verrah nice blend of blue, green and blurple holo glitters in a sheer purple base

Mascara:  CoverGirl Lash Crap, which I realized (once again) will never work for me for longer than a month
