Rama Lama Ding Dong

BRIGHT COLORS YEEEEEAH
After I put this on I felt so comfortable and happy. I love eye-searing makeup. I wish I could do this more often, but it is what it is AND IT IS SCHOOL YO.

Inner 2/3: SM Solar Flare
Outer 1/3: Aromaleigh Bitter and Brazen
Crease and outer corner: AL Boilingpoint with a touch of ES Zombie to add extra definition
Lower lashline: Solar Flare around the inner corner, Bitter and Brazen the rest of the way
Highlight: NYX JEP in Milk ... might have a matte fleshtoned shadow on top, I don't remember.
Liner: Milani LiquifEye, applied with a thin brush to get the wing-shape.
Lipgloss: Revlon Peach Petal, applied VERY lightly so I don't get jizzlips

After seeing the photos I felt like the color placement was very familiar, and sure enough a quick Google search for the Sugarpill Burning Heart palette revealed, like, three or four looks on the first two pages that were almost exactly the same.

ChocoWings and Flying Things

Lid and crease: Darling Girl Chococat
Lower lashline: DG New Beginnings
Highlight: NYX JEP in Milk

Holy crapola, I love Chococat. The green-gold shimmer is quite prominent in these photos, and it certainly is lovely, but the pictures don't show how warm and soft the color looks in the crease. It takes on a slightly plummy-brick tone when it's blended out. Susan makes such beautiful neutrals.

All eyeshadows were from the WnW Vanity palette. For leepsteeck, we have L'Oreal Colour Riche in Raspberry (lightly applied) topped with DG Still Your Sunshine.

I wore this look, sans lipstick, to school on Monday (not a class day, just doing a bunch of homework). I thought the makeup was rather simple and neutral, but I was complimented (I think) by one of my classmates on my 'crazy eyes'. HMMMMMMMMMM?

How the eff does green make silver-lavender?

I've been trying to use products that I've been neglecting (which would be all of my colorful makeup) and pulled out my old pot of Evil Shades Acolyte. I bought that last January (aka almost 2 years ago); I think Andrea was still messing with formulas at the time because my Acolyte looks different than most swatches of that particular shade.

what

You see that nice purpley-greyish-silvery color in the crease? That's Acolyte. The black-green on the upper lashline? Also Acolyte.
WHAT
I don't know. It's neat but I don't understand how it happened. This magic is beyond me.

Do you believe in magic? MAKEUP MAGIC?

Lid: Random crappy shimmery cream-gold eyeshadow mixed with a bit of white-pink
Crease and upper liner: Evil Shades Acolyte (heavily blended in the crease)

GLITTAHTIME

buhbuhbuhbirdbirdbird

Extra blurry because that's how I roll.

AWWWW YEEEEEEEEAAAAAA

GBR

The crease was a bit more red in person, but the glitter photographed surprisingly well. I freaking love that stuff, even though it was a complete bear to apply. I had to take piece of tape and press it against my cheeks to pick up all the sparkly bits of goodness.

Irrelevant side note: I've been using blush more often but I tend to apply very lightly because it's REALLY HARD to do it right with the way my head is shaped. It's sort of a roundish-squarish-heart shape, so those weird picture guides that show where to place blush based on face shape are pretty much worthless. Anyway, if my face looks kind of red in the last picture that's why. I'M STILL LEARNING YOU GAIS (ladies)

Lid: TKB Trading silver holo glitter, pressed over Fyr Pixie Epoxy (which I haven't used in a looong time)
Crease: random matte brown mixed with Fyr Bite Me
Highlight (surprise! I used one!) : NYX JEP in white topped with plain face powder
Liner: Palladio Eye Ink on top, Milani LiquifEye down below

Kitschy Looking Glasses and other things

Not much of a post today; I've been feeling unwell lately because somebody---a certain MANLY SOMEBODY---thinks it's a grand idea to stay up until 1-2 in the morning watching TV on his laptop in bed, without headphones, thus keeping me up all night. This, mixed with 5am alarms for school, stress over homework and too much coffee, is bad news bears. Bad Mr. Mango! Bad boy!

How strange!

DABBA DEE DABBA DIE

Pasty skin, mmmm

This was inspired by this look on MakeupBee. Love the name, love her lashes, I am just full of love.
Unfortunately I put a little too much powder under my eyes (the plain silica powder from TKB Trading) and I look waaaaaay pasty. My bad.

Lid: Fyrinnae Looking Glass
Crease: Sassy Minerals Kitschy
Lower lashline: some random crappy bronze from an old Aziza II palette.
Liner: the black Milani LiquifEye liner
Mascara: Maybellie Falsies Black Drama, non-waterproof. I kind of love that stuff. It's not perfect, but it's pretty nice.

Red for FOOTBALL SATURDAAAAAY <3

Lid: Silk Naturals Fire
Crease: Fyrinnae Bite Me
Upper Lashline: Milani LiquifEye liner topped with more Bite Me

And now for something different!

I HATE EVERYTHING

This is Coco, the bunny who hates everything. We adopted him from Mr. Mango's cousin. His pastimes include eating cardboard, growling at the cat, chewing cords, and peeing right next to the cat's litterbox.

I am so fancy

This handsome, flamboyant gentleman-idiot is Barkley, Coco's arch-nemesis. Barkley loves Coco passionately, but Coco don't want none of that shit.
I like to think of him as a combination of Ray from Archer, Michael Jackson as portrayed in South Park, and Bruce from Family Guy. He is the perfect cat. He has never hissed, growled or bitten anyone in this apartment. He doesn't know how to be angry. He just doesn't give a shit about anything but love. Sometimes he'll flop on the carpet and I'll grab his tail and tug it a bit, and he'll start purring because OH HEY ATTENSHONS YAAAAAY. Also, he is orange. This is good because he matches Mr. Mango's gingerness.

Dropping loads OF PICTURES OBVY

Hot dayum, I haven't posted for quite some time. I've started my final year of school (forever!) and it's been hella busy. There's a lot of project work instead of just doing homework so it's a heavier time investment. On top of that I've been lazy as hell and just haven't worn much makeup aside from eyebrows and mascara. Part of it's because I just don't feel like sitting down and trying to come up with clever things to say, and I don't have as much time as I'd like to keep up with other blogs and comments so I've just started avoiding looking at my blog at all. I still try to read others sometimes, but it's not the same as when I started blogging.

ANYWAY.

Bluuuue mooooon

YOU SAW ME STANDING AH LOOOOONE

without a dream in my heart, mofo

You better shape up because I want my freaking dream back

NOT COOL

I remember a few of the products used...
AL planetearth on lid
AL Dominion and Almost Midnight mixed in the crease, maybe on the lower lashline as well?
NYX Lavender Candy glitter liner over black liquid liner
something soft and golden on inner corner, idk

Seashell Unicorn's Slightly More Evil Twin

things!

I used a Napoleon Perdis palette that I got on clearance at Target. I'm going to love that thing when spring comes back to the northern hemisphere.

Do they know it's Christmastime AT ALL?

Because it's not.

I just can't control myself

Inner corner is the shitty chartreuse shadow from the L'Oreal HiP Riotous duo. The red might be Fyrinnae Bite Me? At any rate the first and third pictures are the most color accurate.

lipsticks yo

Morgana Cryptoria Coraline's Kiss with some sort of gloss on top.

AW YEAH GREEN AND PURPLE

G and P you know you my bros

All TKB Trading! Taurus Orion on the lid, Athena on the inner corner/crease, Black Amethyst in the outer vee/crease.
