Green LOLWUT
I tried to crop out my sad, sad eyebrows. I don't realize how awful they are until I see them in macro. Yikes.
I tried a peach and blue look last Friday using Aromaleigh's Suspect Device, Pretty in Pink and Dominion; unfortunately, I didn't apply my primer as evenly as I had initially thought and the peachy-pink wasn't as intense as I would have liked.

Giveaway time
paintedLadyfingers is holding a Konad plate giveaway. Check this biz out! My favorite plate is S10---how can you not love it?
ToxicLipstick is sharing some pretty Aussie polishes with the rest of the world. I'm friggin loving the green one.
Look at how much stuff Lyra at NailJunkie is giving away! Girl be generous.
Oh, hey, btw---I actually won a giveaway myself! FrescoPhyrra was holding a giveaway to celebrate hitting 500 followers, and Random.org blessed me with her marvelous gifts. Thank you, Phyrra!

So the nude polish that I was wearing kind of sucks.
It did not peel.
It did not chip.
It popped. The Hell. Off. It was like removing a lid from a Tupperware-type container. I am thoroughly displeased.

Catching up on NOTDs
Alice in Wonderland gimpy manicure; Essie Sag Harbor with Sinful Secret Admirer on the ring finger. The hearts were free-handed with a toothpick, and only on my left hand. I am almost completely incapable of detail work when using my left hand, so I just played it safe. Three coats of Essie, two of Sinful, one or two of Roberto.
PS-- I am truly sorry about the state of my fingerskin. Blame work!
A frankened nude polish that doesn't quite match the color of my fingers. My skin is a warm-but-pale golden-peach color, but my fingertips are quite pink.
Polish was made using a half bottle of Roberto, a quarter of Wet'n'Wild French White Creme, and a mixture of light tan face powder and mineral foundation bases. This is three coats of franken and two coats of Roberto.
I don't even know what to name this color; I have a hard time coming up with cute puns or clever names (in spite of my blog title). Halp?

Mo stuff fo my collection
Silk Naturals swatched over TFSI (top), bare skin (middle blorp) and Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy (bottom), from left to right: Danny, Fairy Dust, Cybertron, Fire, SWAK, Petal blush, Medium Ash and Dark Brunette brow powders. In natural light:
Silk Naturals with flash, SWAK kind of hanging off the edge here:
Shadows over black cream liner:
The She Space shadows swatched over TFSI, from right to left and top to bottom: Roaring Metaphor, Drops of Moonstone, Vintage Advantage, Leos and Lovers, Fields of Wisdom, Lions and Witches. In natural light:
Aromaleigh! First the free samples over bare skin: White Wedding, Winged Psyche, Heels on Fire.
Rocks! shadows swatched over Benefit LemonAid and bare skin, from left to right: Obsession, Swamp Thing, Suspect Device.
Unicorn on its own:
Evil Shades: Zombie and Acolyte, both swatched dry over my bare skin.
These shadows are absolutely beautiful. I love the gold/coppery sparkles in Zombie so, so much. Acolyte is almost a true hunter green, deep with a bit of a blue cast. I don't know how it'll look with my skin tone, but I don't really care right now. *squirming with happiness*
And the polish that I purchased, Rainbow in the Dark.
It's too cloudy to do any swatches, so I'll have to show you some other time.
Out of all these shadows, I'm thinking that my favorites are SN Danny and Cybertron, TSS Leos and Lovers, AL Winged Psyche and ES Zombie.
A note about the Evil Shades order: when I went to open my shadows, I noticed that there was a LOT of product stuck in the threads of the jar, easily three or four applications' worth. This happens every time I open the jars after moving them around/flipping them over. This annoys the snot out of me and I don't think I'll be making any more orders from this company. I'm pleased with the products that I purchased, I just don't think it's worth the hassle of cleaning up a bunch of dark, shimmery powder Every Freaking Time I open these jars. Heck, I might even transfer them to different jars once I start finishing up some of the samples I've collected.

Hardest Thing Evar
I have no idea what I was thinking, because now Things That I Want are going on SALE and there are interweb COUPONS. It is complete torture. DARN YOU, SELF.
NOTD tiem.
Gold Foil polish and clear topcoat, both from Supply Source
Starry Silver Glitter (on ring finger), NYC
UPDATE:
The Supply Source foil polish kind of sucks. I've had it on for about five hours, and it's still quite soft; so much so that it's friggin peeling off for no apparent reason. FFFFFFUUUUU----

Glitter polish says what?
Rather than curling up on the floor and shaking like a cokehead because I can't get my glitter fix, I decide to mix it up myself.
From this...
...to this little guy:
Isn't that awesome?? I'm really digging the way the multicolored sparkles from the original polish mix with the purple-pink glitter bits.
Here it is on the fingers in natural sunlight:
Sorry about the smudge. I smacked my hand against the wall just before taking this picture. :(
And in artificial light:
I was way friggin excited about this, you know? It's really not such a big deal, but I like it.
Polish: no name multi-colored glitter in a clear base
Glitter: purple glitter sample from TKB trading
