Old LOTDs AGIN

I like to think in different accents.  When I'm tired or cranky I tend to use the stereotypical "Old West"/redneck/country accent, saying "git out in them fields, consarnit!"  Durn fools, I'll say it agin.

The first look is from this past Thursday.

The first two pictures made my shadow look a bit unblended in the middle of my lid/between the two colors.  It's actually just super shimmery.

All shadows were from the Sleek Curious palette.

The next look is from Saturday; I attended a wedding between two of my favorite friends.  I did purple to match my shoes, durrhurr.

Lid:  Fyrinnae Durn Paladins

Crease:  L'Oreal HIP purple from some duo...don't remember which, mixed with AL Boiling Point (I need to find my pot of Obsession and give it some lovin', too)

Highlight:  theallnaturalface French Vanilla (I love this stuff and I don't know why)

Liner:  UD 24/7 liners in Oil Slick (upper lashline) and Yeyo (inner half of lower lashline)

Supah bonus pic!  I'm pretty proud of my hair, I whipped together a ghetto french twist and sprayed it like a roach.  That thing was impervious.

I'm on the right.  :D

AL shadows:  Almost Midnight, Boiling Point, Unicorn, Planet Earth

I wanted an off-center mask, because my face is uneven.

It makes me think of something a unicorn princess would wear to a social function.  She's probably attending a ball on a foreign planet, maybe as part of her search for a husband because she has to wed by her seventieth moon or she'll be stripped of her crown.  She's rather airy and unreal, sort of intimidating, so the husband search isn't going very well.  Hopefully she finds someone who understands.

Wearable look; I wore this Wednesday to get new front tires on my car.  It took the people seven hours to change the tires and do a balance/alignment on all four wheels.  It sucked balls.

TADAAAAAA.

MOAR: things for my ministash

Or should it be 'stache'?

I purchased a Sleek palette from Grey's blog sale earlier this week, and I received my package yesterday.

She threw in a few sample shadows, also.  YEEEEEAH

These shadows are super soft, so I'm not terribly surprised that one crumbled.  WHATEVAH.

LOOK AT THESE GORGEOUS THINGS.  I'm so glad that I can try some Archetype without having to risk their notorious customer service.

The first set of swatches is over TFSI.

Top row:  Hi-Fi Lyrical Master, Archetype Unseelie Court, Candy Cane Kisses, Abalone, Back to the Sea

Bottom rows: the various Sleek colors.  None of them have names as far as I know.

I swatched three of the Archetypes over Pixie Epoxy, as well.

Candy Cane Kisses looks like a superfine silver glitter with larger red glitters mixed in.  It feels gritty when applied dry.

Abalone appears to be a silvery base with multicolored shimmers.  Over Pixie Epoxy the shimmers are actually much less noticeable.

This one is so pretty that it demanded two photos.  It looks like a nearly metallic golden green.  I love this color so much.

With the Grace of a Lion on Fire

:D

I'm back!  Hopefully I can continue updating throughout this coming week; I'm starting a new job June 1st and moving into an apartment June 4th, so the first week of June might be kind of lame.

Kind of gimped out on my left (your right) eyebrow.  My bad MY BAD I SAID.

Highlight:  SN Fire

Many apologies

for disappearing.  I've had a busy week(end)--moving out of dorms, buying a car, finding an apartment, visiting the zoo, find Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure (two bottles!  TWO!)  and gettingks engaged take a lot out of a person.  I'm currently living at my parents' house and cannot figure out where I packed my camera, so I might not have anything of interest to post until later this week.  WHATEVAH, I do what I want!

theallnaturalface swatches

So I noticed that a few people stopped over here looking for some swatches from thees parteeculere brand, and I couldn't deliver.

I WILL CHANGE THAT.

All swatches are patted over TFSI (top) and Pixie Epoxy (bottom).

From left to right:  Honey Peach, Gold Dust, French Vanilla

Left to right:  Subdued, Orchid, Earl Grey

Honey Peach was difficult to photograph, so here's another picture:

Honey Peach:  a pretty, shimmery peach with a strong hot-pink shimmer.

Gold Dust:  true gold sparkles.

French Vanilla:  lovely white shimmer, very shiny and great for a dramatic highlight.

Subdued:  looks like an antique silver in the photo, but in person it's more of a beige with some pink/purple shimmer and tinytiny blue sparkles.  I love this color.

Orchid:  a cool matte purple.

Earl Grey:  a deep, neutral matte grey.

I don't know if this seller uses bases when she mixes her shadows.  The shimmers, when blended over TFSI, disappear very quickly.  Gold Dust is especially hard to work with; it's all sparkle and no base, so I'd recommend a creamy shadow or Pixie Epoxy underneath this one.  The mattes are also hard to work with; they're quite difficult to blend, especially Orchid.  Then again, I don't really like Orchid anyway because it's too cool for my skin tone and makes me look bruised and sick.  I don't know if I'll purchasen eyeshadows from this person again.

I purchased from her last summer, so it's possible that her current formulas are a little different.  The above comments are only relevant to her products from August 2009 and earlier.

I received a buttload of free eyeshadow samples with my orders.  I'll swatch those next week if anyone is interested.  I also received foundation samples, but I don't think I'll ever post those.  Too much hassle, behbeh.  I do like her foundation formula, though.  I actually found a match for my pale yellow/peach skin YEEEEEEAH.

The pandas are coming

so hide under your bed!

I've been feeling pretty uninspired/blah about everything---music, reading, drawing and shiz---so I thought I'd do a look that I would normally not wear in public.  I generally avoid red, pink and orange shadows, and I'm not sure why.  Fear is what inspires, right?

I don't even know why I bothered waterlining.  It'll be gone in a couple hours.

Lid/crease:  Fyrinnae Red Panda

Liner:  Bourjois Clubbing and Evil Shades Zombie on outer half of upper lashline, Bourjois Clubbing in the waterline
