October 31st: Agent Orange Eclipsed by Honey Peach's Vanity

Her dusty orange skin reflected the spotlight in shades of rose and coral. As the heavy music rolled across the stage in pulsing waves of dark bass and riotous synth drums she twitched her hips in a way that seemed both absolutely unintentional and innocently provocative, the motion becoming more pronounced and fluid with the rising voices of the lecherous audience. Honey Peach was a goddess, a radiant beam of culture and beauty among the countless crudely-formed prostitutes and strippers who'd writhed on the dirty, oily surface of the stage. Agent Orange wasn't the brightest bot but she knew the rising levels desire and lust and want would fill the room until the thin membrane of control popped and sent droplets of violence spilling across the walls. Then again, that might have been the personality implant. You don't just absorb the memories and intellect of a perverted male detective without picking up a few things on humanoid behavior.

......

Happy Halloween and other late-October festivities! I decided to wear something orange today (naturally) and also play with an old idea I had way back when. I feel like this is a bit more polished than the older interpretation, and the lid is much darker even though it's the exact same shadow. Unfortunately there's already a tiny bit of creasing because I am out of eyeshadow primer and had to use a bit of the Monistat Chafing Gel as an emergency primer-ish thing.

Lid: SM Eclipse
Broadly in the crease: Aromaleigh agentorange topped with TANF Honey Peach
Outer vee-crease region: the two bronzey-gold shades in the ELF Nymph Dreams quad
Highlight: light gold from ELF quad mixed with a tiny bit of Honey Peach
Inner corner: the lightest shimmery shade from the WnW Vanity palette

  1. Oh, this is soooo lovely. I never would've thought to pair Eclipse with the crease colors - but they are gorgeous together!

  2. Thank you much. Gotta admit I think you're a bit better at picking colors; I tend to agonize over this stuff for way too long, but when I check out your posts I'm always like WHY DIDN'T I THINK TO PUT THOSE TOGETHER THEY'RE GORGEOUS
